History

Incorporated in 1982, Mantech Mechanical, Inc. (Mantech) is a full-service mechanical contracting company specializing in top-quality design and construction services for commercial projects of all sizes across Alaska, the Lower 48, and overseas. Our crews are highly skilled, proficient in their respective disciplines, accountable, and value-oriented. Mantech was founded in Anchorage by Collin Szymanski, who has served as President for more than three decades. Mantech’s team includes a wide range of mechanical experts, including administrators, project managers, journeyman plumbers, fabricators, and other specialists.

Mantech is one of the most highly-respected mechanical contractors in Alaska. We earned our reputation as a first-rate contractor by continuously serving a wide range of commercial, industrial, and institutional clients over the course of the last 35 years. From our very first project, our philosophy has remained the same – to deliver high-quality work on time and on budget.

Our success stems from the hard work of our employees and their commitment to building lasting relationships with customers, general contractors, suppliers, and work crews through demonstrated cooperation, creativity, and reliability. People

Mantech maintains a combined office and field staff of 16 full-time employees, as well as a full complement of facilities, equipment, and resources to support projects of all sizes. Our team includes two executive-level members, two non-executive mechanical professionals, craftsmen, and administrative personnel. To meet our clients’ needs, we commit our entire staff, additional hires from the Union Hall, and additional support personnel, as needed. Our typical seasonal workforce includes up to 50 personnel, though it varies with our workload.
